CONVEYOR TRIP SWITCH

The CTS 100 conveyor trip switch (pull-key) is an emergency stop switch WITH FLAG INDICATION which provides the facility to stop the conveyor electrically at any point along side the conveyor.The switch can be operated manually via the blue knob which is pad-lockable in "OFF" position or via the pulling mechanism. Once the switch has been operated, it latches in "OFF" position and requires a manual reset.
The pulling mechanism has been designed to compensate for temperature drifts thus preventing spurious trips. The pulling distance recommended for the conveyor trip switch is 100m on each side.The switch enclosure is made of high impact U.V. stabilised polycarbonate equipped with 2 gland entries and complies with IP65 and D.I.P. (Dust Ignition Proof) degree of protection.
The electrical switch is a rotary type, self wiping action, consisting of 2 change over contacts rated to 500V 16A. This configuration makes the switch versatile to meet all emergency stop and signalling requirements. The CTS 100 conveyor trip switch can be used in hazardous locations in conjunction with an intrinsically safe circuitry or in a non hazardous location.
