CONVEYOR TRIP SWITCH
Type: CTS 300 PSW
The CTS 300PSW conveyor trip switch (pull-key) is an emergency stop switch which provides the facility to stop the conveyor electrically at any point along side the conveyor. The switch can be operated manually via the blue knob which is padlocked in "OFF" position or via the pulling mechanism.
Once the switch has been operated, it latches in "OFF" position and requires a manual reset. The pulling mechanism has been designed to compensate for temperature drifts thus preventing spurious trips.The pulling distance recommended for the conveyor trip switch is a 100m from each side.
The switch enclosure is made of high impact U.V. stabilized polycarbonate equipped with 2 gland entries and complies with IP65 and D.I.P. (Dust Ignition Proof) degree of protection. The electrical switch is a rotary type, self wiping action, consisting of 2 change over contacts rated to 500V 16A. The CTS 300PSW conveyor trip switch is equipped with a trip indication LED's and can be used in a hazardous and non hazardous location.
