CONVEYOR PRIMARY DEVICES
Type: CT04 PRI
The CT04 PRI is used on the new 48vdc long line belt protection systems
The CT04 primary device is a device which connects to other units such as take up tower limits, take up trolleys limits and etc. and detects when these units are tripped. The device was developed for use with the Head End Control Unit (HECU).
When the external unit is tripped the primary device waits the specified delay time before breaking the safe line through a relay resulting in a loss of the -12 V safe lines on all units from that point to the HECU. The HECU detects this loss of safe and immediately causes the MCC relay to fall out.
Once the external device has been reset the primary must be reset by pushing the reset pushbutton. The status of the safe line is latched for three polls after the trip has been reset in order to allow for detection of a spurious loss of safe.
Type: CTS 400 PD

Type: CTS 700 PD
The CTS 700 PD primary device is a dual inputdevice which connects to other units such as take up tower limits, take up trolleys limits and etc. and detects when these units are tripped. The device was developed for use with the Head End Control Unit (HECU).
